Terms of Use

Effective July 12, 2026

Relationship to Apple's Standard EULA

These Terms supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). Where these Terms and the Standard EULA both apply, both are in effect. Where they conflict, the Standard EULA governs unless applicable non-waivable law requires otherwise.

You can read the Standard EULA here: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

License, not sale

Aurum AI: Gold Intelligence (“Aurum”) is licensed to you, not sold. Your license is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable as described in the Standard EULA.

What Aurum is — and what it is not

Aurum is an informational calculator and record organizer. It helps you keep, sort, and estimate values for gold items based on information you enter or confirm.

Aurum provides estimates based on information you enter or confirm. It does not authenticate precious metals, verify sellers, appraise collectible value, or provide financial, legal, tax, insurance, or investment advice.

Aurum is not a broker, dealer, financial adviser, appraiser, authenticator, insurer, accountant, or law firm, and no such relationship is created by your use of Aurum.

Your inputs and manual baselines

Aurum's outputs depend on the accuracy and completeness of what you enter or confirm — including product identifiers, weights, purities, quantities, prices, and any manual baseline you set for calculations. You are responsible for reviewing OCR results, confirming figures, and updating baselines as market conditions or your records change.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use Aurum's outputs. Do not rely on Aurum for buying, selling, valuing, insuring, taxing, or otherwise acting on precious metals. Obtain independent professional advice and, where authenticity or valuation matters, physical testing by a qualified professional.

Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are sold and managed by Apple through StoreKit under the Standard EULA and Apple Media Services Terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may cancel at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your Apple device.

Refunds, billing disputes, and family sharing are handled by Apple.

Records remain readable after expiry

If a paid subscription lapses, your locally stored records remain readable and exportable via the iOS share sheet. Specific subscription-only features may become unavailable until the subscription is renewed, but your data is not held hostage.

Availability

Aurum is provided on an as-available basis. Features, prices, and content may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

As-is, subject to non-waivable rights

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aurum is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you, including any statutory consumer rights.

Legal review requirement

These Terms are a template supplement to Apple's Standard EULA and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not legal advice. Before publishing or relying on these Terms, please have them reviewed and adapted by qualified legal counsel for your jurisdiction and business.
