Privacy Policy

Aurum AI: Gold Intelligence (“Aurum”) is a private, on-device iOS app. It has no user accounts. All information you enter stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to share it. Aurum does not sell data, does not run ads, does not embed third-party analytics, and does not send your inputs to a hosted large language model.

You do not create an account to use Aurum. There is no server-side profile of you, no login, and no cross-device identity managed by Aurum.

The information you supply — including product identifiers, pricing you enter or confirm, photographs, receipts, OCR-extracted text, serial numbers, notes, aliases, goals, and app settings — is stored locally on your device. Aurum does not upload this content to Aurum servers.

Aurum uses Apple Vision for optical character recognition and supported Apple Foundation Models on-device for structured assistance. No hosted large language model is used. Your inputs are not transmitted to a third-party AI provider for processing.

Aurum does not display advertisements, does not embed third-party analytics SDKs, and does not sell, rent, or trade your data.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit under Apple's terms. Aurum receives from Apple only the information necessary to enable your subscription entitlement on your device.

Aurum may offer optional private iCloud storage for your own data in your own Apple account. This is disabled by default and remains off until you explicitly configure it. When enabled, data is stored in your private iCloud container under Apple's terms; Aurum has no separate access.

Content leaves your device only when you invoke the iOS share sheet or export function and choose a destination. Aurum performs no background upload of your entries.

The support form on this website is the one exception to Aurum's local-first design. When you submit the form, the fields you enter are transmitted to and stored by our backend processor, Supabase, operated on our behalf through Lovable Cloud, solely so we can answer your request.

Only these fields are collected: the topic you select, the reply-to email you provide, the Aurum app version and iOS version you optionally enter, the description you write, and a timestamp of submission. No names, addresses, phone numbers, Vault data, holdings, serial numbers, documents, device identifiers, analytics, or IP addresses are collected by Aurum in the form itself.

Support submissions are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. To request earlier deletion, reply to our response to your submission and ask us to delete it.

Your data is retained on your device until you delete individual items, wipe all data from within the app, or uninstall Aurum. Because entries are local, deletion on your device is the deletion.

You can export your records via the iOS share sheet and delete any record or all records from within Aurum at any time. No separate request to Aurum is needed.

Aurum relies on the security of your device — passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, iOS updates, and any private iCloud protections you have enabled. No software can guarantee absolute security. Please keep your device up to date and protected.

Aurum is a general-audience app and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect information from children.

Aurum may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. The effective date at the top of this page will change accordingly, and material changes will be surfaced in the app or on this page.
